Protest due to EU non acceptance and honour of the Irish peoples vetoe against the Lisbon Treaty/Constitution. Bring as many friends and patriots as you can as well as banners. NO MEANS NO!!

What we're seeing is exactly what you've observed and is actually a throwback to the same 'mercantilism' that Lincoln based his version of the so called 'American Dream' of how he envisioned it should be, not the Constitutional Republic that it's forefathers envisioned with state and individuals rights where the average person could really put the real "American dream" to work for them and not for a conglomerate of big business and imperial ventures which prop up the government of the country. The same federal system is envisioned by the European Union commision, another self serving polital think tank in my opinion. I just hope that there still hope of reversing the situation that we're in now, the Irish rejection of the Lisbon Treaty was a good starting point as it has un-masked the face of the European Union and what it really stands for...
If it was for the commonm good of the people it would not be a bad thing, but all it is is a centralised conglomeration which monopolises the idea of 'free trade' for the benefit of big busines and the "special interest" cartels...
