I've been told I'm handsome, intelligent, confident, adventurous, fun, capable, hard-working, loyal, trustworthy, athletic, spiritual, groomed, clean, punctual, and much more modest than this makes me sound with a good sense of humor and good hygiene. The best compliment I've ever gotten was from someone that told me I was the sanest person she'd ever met. I have no vices other than chocolate, hard work and my Wife - Tink. I need quality chocolate daily or the world will end, ( lol ),. I have been getting enough chocolate, plenty of hard work and recently met and married a wonderful woman that has knocked me for a loop. We are 2 in 1 and she makes me happy beyond words. She's the Pick of The Litter. I am a Certified Massage Therapist and a Personal Trainer and very good at both. I am building a 3 story, 4650 sq. ft. Concrete Monolithic Dome for my house. It is the strongest and most energy efficient structure that can be built for the money. To learn more, go to monolithic.com . I have a couple pictures posted. I've done a lot of construction and my strong sense of logic compelled me to build this. It's a solo project, so it's a lot of hard work and taking a while. I am very optimistic and my glass is half full.

I don't subscribe to the notion that God is exclusive if you happen to be in the club that some people are currently promoting. I think that any outback aborigine or Native American or Inuit has the same potential for spiritual revelation as every other person and feel no one has the right to invalidate another persons relationship to a higher power, whatever your interpetation of it might be. I have a travelling companion who continually re-awakens me from that deep perceptual sleep into which I keep falling, As we are travelling he will look at some highway sign and say,"ONE WAY","YIELD", "MERGE", "FLY UNITED", .... Time and again in the course of our journey together he has taken commonly used words and images and with the inflection of his voice, a stroke of his paint brush, or a contextual reorganization has awakened me to the Divine message which all-ways dwells in the commonplace.
Sometimes at a critical moment when we are all seemingly lost in our melodrama, he would quote Christ, or the 6th Patriarch or a Sufi saint or some other pilgrim; and at that moment the situation we were in, and even the quote itself would suddenly become pregnant with the Living Spirit.
When we would lose our way, he would say, "Let's ask Meher Baba.", and then from the next person we would ask directions. But now the act of asking for directions was no longer just more sleepwalking. With his definition, this ordinary act suddenly became the precious opportunity to have the darshan,(visit.), and guidance of the Blessed Teacher who once again had manifested in order to guide us on our way "OM".
At times his seeing has been too esoterically exquisite for me. But long ago I put my paranoia about this to rest. For he never was trying to humiliate me or show me up; but rather was joyfully sharing his vision of the relationships of the universe, which once seen, help to liberate. As with everything around me, the messages I could use, I did. The rest I let flow by.
Although there is only "ONE WAY", the paths are many. Each of us must find his or her own unique route. However, it does appear that the path for many of us in the West is thru the market-place as well as the mountain cave. And the path of the market-place requires that we re-view the beings and the objects which fill our daily lives....in such a way as to experience all of it as the sound of Krishna's flute, ie; the message that Awakens

For too long, we Michiganders have been victims of our legislators using the intrusive income tax code for poltical favor-making - enhancing their own power, but making our families and businesses poorer. Most recently, under the much-touted guise of fixing Michigan's tax system, the legislature enacted the Michigan Business Tax. Trouble is, the MBT still remains a gross receipts tax, levying a tax even if a business isn't profitable - which was the problem with the Single Business Tax it was designed to replace. The MBT continues to penalize entrepreneurship and productivity, and Michigan is rapidly losing businesses, jobs, and families - daily !
When I learned about the Michigan FairTax plan, I decided to quit feeling like a victim, and decided to do something to help change Michigan's economic environment - and I'd like to invite you to join us! Thousands of us are working hard to get the word out about a fairer, progressive consumption tax - the Michigan FairTax. Our goal is to SCRAP the Michigan income tax because the system is broken. In order to give Michigan voters the power to choose, we are laying the groundwork for a ballot drive to get the Michigan FairTax on the 2010 general election ballot.
The Michigan FairTax will both simplify, and stimulate, Michigan's business / jobs climate in a dramatic and ongoing manner. It will replace the income tax and current sales tax, with a consumption tax (sales tax at point of retail sale) while un-taxing all purchases up to poverty level - this means no more withholding of state tax from Michigan wage-earners' paychecks.
What's more, every Michigan resident-family will receive a monthly "prebate" check, in amount based on family size (.0975 x $ [ poverty level per family size] ). This will ensure that NO Michigan family will EVEN BEGIN paying the MI FairTax on goods / services unless, or until, they exceed poverty-level spending. Thus, the MI FairTax rate would effectively be 0% on all monthly family spending up to the monthly poverty level, thereafter it would be 9.75%. A reasonable average effective rate, inferred, would be about 5.5% (that's without putting anything away!) Monies placed into savings are not available to spend, and therefore would result in a further effective tax rate reduction.- - -

The MI FairTax is NOT applied to non-retail, business-to-business purchases, as this inseparably embeds taxation costs in prices of finished goods and services.This plan is revenue neutral, as it-- ends "first fruit" confiscation of wages, stops the practice of hiding consumer taxes in retail prices, makes the true cost of gov't visible, and properly pays for gov't as we meet personal and family needs.
